Sales Specialist – Genomics (DACH)

Are you a driven sales professional with a strong background in oncology, genomics, and next-generation sequencing (NGS) ? We’re looking for a Sales Specialist to lead the promotion and sales of innovative genomic solutions across Southern Germany, Austria, and German-speaking Switzerland . This role is fully remote , with travel across the region (~50%).

Your Role:

  • Commercial Growth & Market Expansion – Drive adoption of cutting-edge NGS and oncology solutions , securing strategic sales opportunities across the DACH region.
  • Consultative Sales & Account Management – Engage with key stakeholders in academic medical centers, research institutes, and pharma to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution – Develop and implement effective sales strategies that ensure sustainable revenue growth.
  • Relationship Building & Stakeholder Engagement – Establish strong connections with molecular pathologists, clinical researchers, and procurement teams to expand market influence.
  • Target Achievement & Business Development – Manage sales revenue responsibilities, ensuring quarterly and annual targets are met or exceeded.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with technical support, marketing, and product teams to maximize market penetration and customer success.

What You Bring:

  • Degree in Life Sciences (Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or related field).
  • Proven commercial experience selling genomic assays or NGS-based solutions in oncology, diagnostics, or life sciences .
  • Expertise in Clinical Oncology, Genomics, and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) .
  • Track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth in academic and pharma markets .
  • Fluent in German and English – able to communicate technical concepts effectively in both languages.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (~50%) across the region, with a primary focus on Munich, Stuttgart, and Nuremberg .

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD in Life Sciences (advantageous but not required).
  • Experience managing strategic accounts and engaging with key opinion leaders.
