Sales Specialist – Genomics (DACH)

We’re looking for a Sales Specialist to lead the promotion and sales of innovative genomic solutions across Southern Germany, Austria, and German-speaking Switzerland . This role is fully remote , with travel across the region (~50%).
Your Role:
- Commercial Growth & Market Expansion – Drive adoption of cutting-edge NGS and oncology solutions , securing strategic sales opportunities across the DACH region.
- Consultative Sales & Account Management – Engage with key stakeholders in academic medical centers, research institutes, and pharma to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Strategic Planning & Execution – Develop and implement effective sales strategies that ensure sustainable revenue growth.
- Relationship Building & Stakeholder Engagement – Establish strong connections with molecular pathologists, clinical researchers, and procurement teams to expand market influence.
- Target Achievement & Business Development – Manage sales revenue responsibilities, ensuring quarterly and annual targets are met or exceeded.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with technical support, marketing, and product teams to maximize market penetration and customer success.
What You Bring:
- Degree in Life Sciences (Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or related field).
- Proven commercial experience selling genomic assays or NGS-based solutions in oncology, diagnostics, or life sciences .
- Expertise in Clinical Oncology, Genomics, and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) .
- Track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth in academic and pharma markets .
- Fluent in German and English – able to communicate technical concepts effectively in both languages.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (~50%) across the region, with a primary focus on Munich, Stuttgart, and Nuremberg .
Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD in Life Sciences (advantageous but not required).
- Experience managing strategic accounts and engaging with key opinion leaders.
