Sales Specialist – Genomics & NGS (Sweden, Remote)

Are you a scientifically driven sales professional with expertise in next-generation sequencing (NGS) and genomics ? If so, this is an opportunity to drive commercial success in Sweden , helping researchers and clinicians unlock the power of advanced sequencing solutions .

We’re looking for a Sales Specialist – Genomics & Sequencing Applications to expand market presence , build key relationships , and support innovative sequencing technologies across Sweden . This is a remote role , with travel (~60%) to engage with academic institutions, biotech, and clinical research organizations .

Your Role:

  • Revenue Growth & Market Expansion – Achieve sales targets by driving adoption of genomics and sequencing solutions in biotech, pharma, and academic research .
  • Customer Engagement & Technical Sales – Work closely with scientists, clinical researchers, and lab directors , providing expert guidance on sequencing workflows and applications.
  • Strategic Account Development – Develop tailored sales plans that align with corporate objectives and territory-specific opportunities .
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work alongside territory sales teams, field applications scientists, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless customer support and execution.
  • Technical Presentations & Solution Consulting – Deliver compelling presentations, demos, and project proposals that demonstrate the value of advanced sequencing technologies.
  • CRM & Pipeline Management – Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecast revenue, and track market trends using CRM tools.
  • Industry Representation – Represent the company at scientific conferences, workshops, and customer events , enhancing brand presence and market influence.

What You Bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial sales within life sciences, genomics, or clinical research .
  • Technical knowledge of NGS applications , molecular biology, or genomics-based research.
  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Ability to engage, consult, and build long-term relationships with key stakeholders in academia, biotech, and clinical research .
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills , with the ability to communicate both technical and commercial value.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English (additional Nordic languages are a plus).
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a Life Science discipline (Molecular Biology, Genomics, or related field preferred).
  • Willingness to travel (~60%) within Sweden and occasionally across the Nordic region.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with sequencing platforms, genomics solutions, and bioinformatics tools .
  • Strong network within the Swedish biotech and research ecosystem .
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and data-driven sales strategies .
