Account Manager – Life Sciences (Oxford, UK)

Your Role:

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, acting as a bridge between customers and technical teams.
  • Develop strategic sales programs to exceed revenue targets and drive market expansion.
  • Identify and engage new business opportunities while nurturing existing accounts.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date account data within a CRM system.
  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of cutting-edge technologies in molecular biology, proteomics, and related disciplines to provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including field application scientists and inside sales, to support customer success.
  • Regular travel within the assigned region, engaging clients through both virtual and in-person meetings.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of five years in technical sales, managing multiple geographic regions.
  • Proven track record of success in industrial or academic sales.
  • Strong negotiation skills, business acumen, and the ability to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Expertise in CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • A results-driven mindset with the flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including occasional overnight stays.
