Territory: New England
A high-growth scientific instrumentation company is looking for a technically strong, commercially driven Technical Sales Representative to take over a lucrative and highly established Boston/Cambridge territory.
This role is ideal for someone who combines deep organic synthesis expertise with a proven ability to drive complex, consultative sales conversations across academic, biotech, and pharma environments.
What You’ll Do
- Own and grow a top-performing New England territory with daily customer interaction in Boston/Cambridge.
- Manage a mix of new-business development and strategic account management.
- Lead full sales cycles, from prospecting and technical discussions to demos, negotiation, and close.
- Support customers with a strong understanding of organic synthesis workflows
- Build long-term relationships while identifying new scientific and commercial opportunities.
- Collaborate with a large, supportive sales team and contribute market feedback to internal groups.
What You Bring
- B.S. Life Sciences, Chemistry, or related field
- Strong organic synthesis/chemistry background, hands-on lab experience is a plus
- 1-3 years experience selling scientific instrumentation
- Understanding of the Boston/Cambridge scientific landscape (IE its customers, pace, and expectations)
- A driven, go-getter sales mindset suited to the Boston market.
- Ability to handle technical conversations independently, even with FAS support available.
- Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
