Help Scientists Build the Labs of the Future
We’re working on behalf of a global innovator in laboratory automation technology, a company that is revolutionizing how scientists connect their instrumentation, workflows, and data through intelligent, cloud-based orchestration.
Their flagship software platform is a cutting-edge SaaS solution designed to streamline lab operations, integrate complex systems, and empower R&D teams across pharma and biotech. As they continue to scale, they’re hiring a Software Applications Specialist to support pre-sales activity, customer onboarding, and product adoption.
This is a key role for someone who thrives at the intersection of science, technology, and commercial strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Sales Engagement : Join commercial conversations to identify customer needs, shape tailored software solutions, and clearly communicate the business and scientific value.
- Product Demonstrations : Deliver engaging demos across varied use cases. You’ll be comfortable leveraging scripting knowledge (C# or Python) and API concepts to illustrate flexibility and integration potential.
- Customer Enablement : Partner with customers post-sale to support onboarding, configuration, testing, and validation. You’ll contribute to project scoping, generate Statements of Work (SOWs), and ensure client success.
- Technical Communication : Bridge the gap between product and client, ensuring Engineering and Product teams receive customer feedback and requests in a clear, structured format.
- Collaborative Selling : Work alongside cross-functional teams (Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Product) to drive adoption of the full lab automation solution.
- SaaS Standards & Security : Interface with customer IT and security teams to address product compliance requirements including uptime, response times, and system integration.
- Sales Enablement : Help produce materials like case studies, technical documentation, and competitive analysis tools to support the go-to-market effort.
- Market Intelligence : Stay informed on industry trends, competitor products, and shifts in the lab automation space.
