We’re recruiting on behalf of a pioneering life sciences company with a revolutionary proteomics platform that is transforming how the pharmaceutical and biotech industries approach biomarker discovery and drug development.

With a powerful new product launch now complete and landmark pharma deals already in motion, the next critical phase is market expansion. As Senior Key Account Manager , you’ll play a strategic role in accelerating adoption across pharma and biotech accounts- building relationships, educating the market, and leading with both commercial acumen and scientific credibility.


What You’ll Do

  • Own the sales cycle : Develop and execute tailored sales plans to hit growth targets and expand the customer base across pharma and biotech.

  • Drive customer engagement : Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities through prospecting, relationship building, and needs-based solution selling.

  • Deliver high-impact presentations : Confidently present the platform’s capabilities to technical and non-technical audiences, articulating use cases across drug discovery, target validation, and translational biomarker applications.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams : Collaborate closely with internal Product and Customer Success teams to relay customer insights and shape tailored solutions.

  • Act as strategic quarterback : Bring in the right internal experts (technical and scientific) at the right stage to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Lead by example : Set a high standard for existing Account Managers and support their development.

  • Market intelligence : Stay on top of competitive activity, customer funding news, and industry trends to identify emerging commercial opportunities.

  • Represent the company externally : Attend and participate in relevant academic and industry conferences.


What We’re Looking For

  • Scientific foundation : MS or PhD in a relevant field (e.g., Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology).

  • Sales experience : 3+ years Sales into BioPharma, with a track record of exceeding targets.

  • Strategic credibility : Able to engage senior-level stakeholders (VPs, Directors, Scientific Leads) and align solutions to complex R&D priorities.

  • Proteomics fluency : Quick to understand novel proteomics applications, especially for use in drug discovery and translational research.

  • Communication mastery : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.

  • CRM and forecasting : Proficient in pipeline management, deal tracking, and accurate sales forecasting using modern CRM tools.

  • Travel ready : Able to travel up to 50% to attend client meetings, conferences, and internal strategy sessions.
