Northeast Sales Manager – Clinical Diagnostics

What You’ll Be Selling
You’ll represent a portfolio of solutions used in diagnostic assay development and manufacturing, including: enzymes, recombinant proteins, and stabilizers for clinical chemistry and molecular diagnostics, antibodies, antigens, and immunological raw materials as well as custom OEM solutions tailored to diagnostic manufacturers. This territory is largely engaged in clinical chemistry and assay quality workflows, making technical fluency in these areas a key differentiator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive territory growth by expanding strategic relationships with existing accounts while proactively identifying and converting new business opportunities across diagnostics and life science markets.
  • Position technical solutions with credibility and depth, supporting customer R&D, manufacturing, and procurement stakeholders through a consultative, value-based sales approach.
  • Develop and execute a territory plan aligned with commercial goals, prioritizing high-impact opportunities, managing sales cycles, and maintaining accurate forecasts within CRM systems.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, technical support, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless implementation, customer satisfaction, and ongoing account development.
  • Represent the voice of the customer internally, helping shape go-to-market strategy and product positioning based on evolving market needs and competitor activity.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline
  • Field-based sales experience in the diagnostics, life sciences, or reagent supply sectors, with a proven track record of success in complex B2B environments.
  • Strong technical understanding of clinical chemistry workflows (i.e. enzymes) , and assay development processes; ability to translate product capabilities into customer-centric solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills , with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders - from scientists and lab managers to procurement and executive leadership.
  • Strategic, self-directed, and commercially minded , with a collaborative mindset and the discipline to manage a dynamic, results-driven territory.
  • Willingness to travel regionally (~30%) to support customers, drive growth, and represent the company at key meetings and industry events.
