A global life science and analytical technology organization is seeking a Market Segment Manager to support the growth of its Analytical Testing portfolio across North America.
This role is focused on driving commercialization strategy, customer engagement, and market growth across clinical diagnostics, forensic toxicology, and bioanalytical testing environments.
The organization is looking for a technically credible, commercially minded individual who understands analytical testing workflows and enjoys operating at the intersection of science, strategy, customer interaction, and business growth.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Drive downstream commercial strategy and market development activities across analytical testing markets
- Work directly with customers, sales teams, and technical stakeholders to support commercial growth initiatives
- Support commercialization and go-to-market efforts for new and existing technologies
- Guide and prioritize technical application activities alongside a team of application scientists
- Identify customer pain points, market trends, and competitive opportunities within regulated testing environments
- Support conference strategy, customer engagement activities, and industry events across North America
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, applications, technical teams, and marketing
- Contribute to customer-facing messaging, sales enablement, and strategic market positioning efforts
- Help shape growth initiatives tied to emerging technologies and expanding analytical testing markets
What They’re Looking For
- Strong understanding of clinical diagnostics, forensic toxicology, bioanalytical, or regulated analytical testing environments
- Familiarity with analytical workflows involving sample preparation, chromatography, or related technologies
- Technical credibility and ability to communicate effectively with scientific customers
- Experience within life science tools, diagnostics, analytical instrumentation, pharma, CRO, or laboratory environments
- Commercial, applications, product marketing, or customer-facing scientific experience
- Strong communication, collaboration, and independent problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate strategically while remaining customer-focused and execution-oriented
- Prior leadership or mentoring experience is beneficial but not required
