We are seeking the newest addition to a dynamic, growing team - a Key Account Manager (or Senior KAM) to drive strategic growth across drug discovery and development organizations in Pharma and Biotech. This role is less about traditional territory coverage and more about strategic business development, account mapping, and expanding repeatable, high-impact partnerships.
Already working with 90% of the top 20 pharma companies, this is a new opportunity to go deeper, particularly within discovery, development, and CRO/CDMOs and to identify where this disruptive multiplex proteomics platform can scale across programs, modalities, and phases.
You will partner closely with internal technical and translational experts, focusing your time on access, positioning, and strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute account strategies across large pharma and high-growth biotech customers
- Identify and expand opportunities within drug discovery and development workflows, including CRO/CDMO engagements
- Build repeatable business by engaging teams that generate scaled, recurring data rather than one-off pilots
- Collaborate cross-functionally with technical, translational, and scientific teams to position product effectively
- Contribute to shaping the commercial motion, including account mapping, opportunity generation, and go-to-market strategy
- Operate in a team-oriented sales environment, where incentives reward both execution and strategic contribution
Who We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience selling into drug discovery and/or development organizations within Pharma or Biotech
- Background in services, platforms, or discovery-enabling technologies (CRO, CDMO, omics platforms, biomarkers, etc.)
- Strong understanding of how discovery and development teams evaluate, adopt, and scale solutions
- Comfortable navigating complex organizations and identifying decision-makers and buying paths
- Technically credibility (PhD helpful but not required), able to engage scientifically.
- Motivated by building a market solution, not just carrying a book of business.
