Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and service complex laboratory instrumentation at customer sites
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, electro-mechanical, fluidic, and software-related issues
  • Perform preventative maintenance, calibrations, upgrades, and system validations
  • Act as the primary technical contact for customers during service visits
  • Document service activities, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions using internal service systems
  • Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to escalate and resolve complex issues
  • Provide feedback from the field to support continuous product and service improvements
  • Travel frequently within North America as required by customer demand
Required Experience and Skills

  • Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills across electro-mechanical systems and software interfaces
  • Ability to work independently in the field while managing multiple service priorities
  • Strong communication skills and professionalism when working with scientific and technical customers
  • Comfort with service documentation, reporting tools, and remote collaboration
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively within North America, particularly the East Coast
  • Valid work authorization and ability to travel freely within the region
Preferred (Not Required)
  • Experience supporting complex analytical, diagnostic, or research instrumentation
  • Exposure to regulated or semi-regulated laboratory environments
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams
What This Offers
  • A highly autonomous field-based role with real ownership
  • Exposure to technically complex laboratory systems
  • Opportunity to grow with a scaling instrumentation company
  • Collaborative and technically driven culture
  • Competitive compensation and benefits
