As a Field Applications Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical support, pre-sales assistance, and service implementation to drive the adoption of this cutting-edge technology, primarily focusing on air quality and chemical analysis solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct installations and provide technical support for instruments, ensuring seamless integration into client workflows.
- Deliver comprehensive training sessions to clients on instrument operation, application development, and data analysis.
- Collaborate with the sales team during pre-sales activities, including demonstrations and proof of concept processes.
- Act as a champion for company’s technology, representing its capabilities and advantages against competitors’ offerings.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, serving as a primary point of contact for application-related inquiries and support.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a similar discipline. Master or PhD is preferred.
- Proficiency in designing and executing experiments, as well as troubleshooting technical issues.
- Willingness to travel extensively (~ 60%) across North America, primarily along the East Coast
- Applications/Technical Support Experience in the Field
- Strong problem-solving, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to customers.
