Bioinformatics Analyst – NGS

We’re looking for a Bioinformatics Analyst to process and analyze Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) data , optimize computational workflows, and contribute to software development efforts. Your Role:
- NGS Data Processing & Analysis – Manage and interpret large-scale sequencing data, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Pipeline Development & Optimization – Design, implement, and refine automated bioinformatics workflows for genomics and molecular assays.
- Software & Database Management – Develop and maintain bioinformatics tools, databases, and custom scripts to support data processing.
- Data Management & Compliance – Organize sample tracking systems, ensure proper data storage, and oversee archival strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with laboratory, software, and data science teams to streamline computational solutions and troubleshoot challenges.
- Application Development – Support internal and external projects that drive innovation in genomic analysis and bioinformatics applications.
What You Bring:
- A degree in Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or a related Life Sciences field (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
- Hands-on experience in NGS data analysis and pipeline development within industry, academia, or government labs.
- Strong coding skills in Python, SQL, and shell scripting—proficiency in other languages is a plus.
- Experience working with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS preferred).
- A keen interest in optimizing workflows and computational efficiencies in genomics.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a collaborative and results-driven mindset .
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex scientific concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
- Experience in a regulated or clinical lab environment is a bonus.
