This is a dynamic, customer-facing role where your scientific expertise will directly influence customer success, product development, and the next generation of proteomic discovery.
About the Role
As Application Scientist, you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams, guiding study design, supporting experimental execution, and helping interpret complex data. You will work closely with commercial, marketing, and R&D teams to capture insights from the field and channel customer feedback directly into product innovation.
This is a high-impact, fast-paced role where your problem-solving skills, scientific acumen, and ability to communicate clearly will be instrumental to the company’s continued success.
Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support to clients and internal teams throughout pre-sales and post-sales processes.

Guide experimental design, study execution, and data interpretation.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges to ensure customer success.

Act as a cross-functional liaison between field and lab teams, ensuring insights are captured and acted upon.

Support the development of technical documentation, application notes, and sales enablement materials.

Represent the company at scientific conferences, workshops, and customer meetings.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of products and internal processes.
About You

MS or PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or related discipline.

5+ years in a customer-facing scientific role (e.g. Applications, Field Support, Technical Sales).

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, you thrive when working with people and science.

Confident working independently across scientific, commercial, and operational teams.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and evolving biotech environment.

Willingness to travel up to ~25% within North America.

Bonus points for knowledge of proteomics, biomarker discovery, or multiplex assay technologies. Experience with data analysis and coding is a plus.
